well, well, welllllll… it’s been a minute since i caught up on my little photographic version of life!! i’m gonna go ahead and plop down this little stack of entertaining moments from thanksgiving day… just trying to nail that family photo. haha. it’s always interesting! and we definitely ended up with a more humorous christmas card [side-eye, rocco’s side-eye!], but i s’pose that’s real life!
if there’s anything i’ve learned in the last… 5 years? decade? [no, 2020 is not the year that did me in, personally. sure, the world is craycray, but this, i already knew!] it’s that the only way to get through life is to find beauty in the madness, thank the good Lord for your every little blessing, find a good beat and dance when you *don’t* want to, hug more, and just plow on through.
i’m grateful for challenges that have made me stronger.
i’m grateful for all the little hands feet and paws that keep things interesting in our house.
i’m grateful for solid ground when too many things seem shaky.
i’m grateful for family and friends and humans that aren’t scared of you when you’re a fugly B. haha.
i’m grateful for sunshine! [don’t you dare block it, billy G. iykyk.]
i’m grateful for coffee. grocery delivery. freakin’ align leggings, even though i *said* i’d never wear lulu! but i mean, truly… they’re amazing.
i’m grateful for a home that keeps us safe. and. warm. no matter how many gorgeous mansions may or may not fill my social media, i’m always reminding myself that we have all we need. 🙂 well, almost. we don’t have chickens, and i’m pretty sure we’re gonna need those one day.
oh, i’m grateful for my car. i’m obsessed with my car. me and the kiddos, we have fun car moments driving to school, and i love it.
anyway! daily gratitude lists helped me get through some tough times a few years ago, and i’m trying to remember to keep up the habit!! lists in general, aren’t they the best? yes. they are. i have so many notepads around the house just for potential list purposes. so that’s it. that’s all! just poppin in to say… i’m grateful. even though our fridge won’t stop beeping today, my ***very adorable*** toddler just dumped out a brand new bottle of squalane oil, and looking back at our photos, i’m reminded that our thanksgiving week kind of sucked…
these are okay problems to have. 🙂 gratitude!

blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him. [james 1:12]
give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. [1st thess. 5:18]
i do not ask that You would take them out of the world, but that You would keep them out of the hands of the evil one. they are not of the world, even as i am not of the world. sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth. as You have sent Me into the world, i also have sent them into the world. [john 17:15-18]
