oooh, my goodness!! it wasn’t that long ago that i snuggled my baby rocco in these same little pajamas. it wasn’t that long ago at all… but oh, at the same time, it was! things change so quickly, and more and more i’m thankful for all the smallest things that i took time to preserve in words and photos. i’ve realized over three babies that it’s not just the milestones that need documenting… no, those are much more easily saved in my memory! first steps? first birthdays? i’ll never forget ’em.
no, it’s the tiniest details that will slowly fade away that i wish so badly that i could save! it’s the way their bodies curl as you snuggle, their fluttery lashes and little nose scrunches, their “words” and noises before they can talk, the sound and smell of their every tiny breath, their mushy, perfectly pink lips and chunky feet… you certainly can’t capture it all, but it’s something to think about even on the dullest of days! i try to remember this with my “bigger” babes, too, because age 4 seems both grown and tiny all at once, and one day even age 7 will seem so little and long gone compared to the rest of our lives! and speaking of 7… gosh, we miss our girl soo much these days in our regular mornings!! it’s not the same without her, but i’m sure soaking up my baby boys…
…and gosh, boys are HILARIOUS, i might add! they are hilarious. charming. layered. clever. and oooh so active… these two are constantly rebounding from one rambunctious action or another.
anyway, aside from getting maddalena ready and scrambling out the door for our morning journey, or just scrambling her out the door for our glorious carpool scenario… our morning preferences haven’t strayed too much! we still prefer our slow, cozy mornings [even if the slow, cozy beings after the morning journey], and thankfully, that is one thing that will probably never change. [and ahem ahem ahem… by slow, cozy, i obviously mean that i’m typically on my feet juggling the care of several creatures, but with coffee in my hand and no pressure to be dressed with makeup on!!] 🙂
xoxoxo! HAPPY DECEMBER!!
PS! who’s been shopping?! i feel like black friday isn’t even where the deals are anymore… i’m more of a cyber monday gal! haha! a few pertinent items here are on sale soooooo… here’s a smidge of good info!
-amazing deal on instax mini cameras!!! i refuse to live without mine, and my babes love taking their own photos for their own little collections! i obviously can’t say for sure what santa is bringing to my most mature of small humans, but i do know this camera bundle looks MAGICAL, so i suuure hope the elves can recreate it! it might even be already on his sleigh! 😉 😉 😉 and you get a $15 gift card today if you happen to buy it. just sayin!
-also, i’m living in my pretty pink shearling slippers and they’re currently the best price they could possibly be! who would i even be if i weren’t considering a backup pair? especially since mine aren’t quite as pink once a certain puppup’s paws step right on them. haha.
-OH and i’m super obsessed with old navy lately, i mean, they have so much good stuff right now! i got this sweater not long ago, and it’s hugely on repeat!! it’s so soft and pretty. like, i wear it with joggers or leggings to hang out, but also wore it for our 2nd round of thanksgiving with a ruffle tank. winner!!
-and!!! those sweet little jammies i’ve loved seeing on both my boys are by softsie. they’re so dang cute, and also designed to be gentle and healing for sensitive skin, which i think is amazing!! get 20% off today with the code CYBER2019!!

Slow mornings at home…. where did they go? I miss baby snuggles so fiercely!! I refuse to look at any sales since I did my shopping (online) on Friday. Letty asked for the instax mini in flamingo pink so that is what she will get! I also got her little fairy string lights with clips so she can display her photos! Getting older has its perks! Maybe. Haha
