siblings + siblings! scioscia sibs of aaall types. I LOVE IT!!
a couple of weekends ago, we took our three german shepherd sisters out on their very first sisterwolf date away from their usual farm/home hangs… and they were so good!!! of course, “so good,” is relative considering they are 10 month old puppies, but we were very proud of them. there were so many other dogs there, visiting and performing personal protection demonstrations… so, once ours got past their initial enthusiasm, they were really so, so patient! i really didn’t know how it was going to go, so i was super proud. we even had their little paw prints made on paper, ha! they’re messy and cute, as a giant puppy paw print should be, right?!
anyway, stella remembered exactly where we were as we pulled up, as it was an event hosted where she had her obedience training! we just love it out there. soooo much, in fact, that my sister-in-law now works there! obviously we like to make everything a family affair, if at all possible. 🙂
and oooh, my goodness! thinking back on our early puppy days… i’m so glad we made it through! and by we i mostly mean… me and luca. because that baby/puppy balance was SOMETHING ELSE! ha, if you had told me a few years ago that i would soon have an infant and a german shepherd puppy at the same time, i would never have believed it. i might have run for the hills, actually! ha! but fast forward, and i knew she would be worth it!! she is totally my dream pup. [besides minnie, of course!!], and all three of these ladies bring us such. great. joy.
also, i truly could not have done it without globalk9! like, really. remember how i scheduled stella’s two weeks of training with them for the same time as steven’s acl surgery? and then we showed up to get her and have our first training session with two big kiddos, me wearing a baby, steven wearing a full leg cast, and my angel of a sister-in-law? haha! they probably thought we were crazy. and rightly so!!
you good girls, kaiya, stella, & tikka!! also, i love you, too, siblings!! oh, and i can’t fail to mention that my human babes were additionally delightful. there was even a bounce house they gladly dominated! a success story, all around, really. 😉

[also, the first photo was taken from the globalk9 fb page! thank you!! i love it!!]
