cheekwood harvest is one of my very favorite things to do with the babes this time of year!! we picked my sister up from work on the most perfect fall afternoon just a week + some days ago, and went frolicking among the autumny everythings. her dear darling husband popped over and surprised her, too… and myyy those two are the most adorable! anyway, cheekwood is so beautiful, and they get those fall vibes juuust right!
of course, everything is especially sweet now that baby luca can really participate! he is my october pumpkin baby, after all… and i just love capturing all these little moments and going back to them year after year. christina and i were laughing thinking about the time we went when rocco was so tiny and maddalena was having a full-on toddler episode, refusing to leave without the biggest, ugliest pumpkin in the patch! haha!! she was ready to roll it all the way home if she had to, until christina bribed her with a yummy lunch.
anyway. i love fall in nashville, for the most part. some days are for sweaters, some days are for shorts! and the leaves are finally the absolute prettiest juuuuust as october turns to november. it’s a good time. except for the rainy parts… like right now… but, hey! that’s okay!
also, speaking of sweaters, sorry not sorry if i’m living in this one from now on!! i seriously thought i didn’t like buffalo check… but then i saw this sweater and basically, it changed my whole view on the oversized plaid. it’s been on sale and i’m in love! i feel like the black is really spiffy and i miiight need that one, too. 😉 #changemymind
ps. a few cheekwood favs! light // harvest // playhouses // harvest // bunnies

Your three are seriously the cutest three in all the lands! I don’t know how you people in the south can handle the sweater in any sort of warm weather…. I hate to sweat! Which is why I rarely wear them lol!
