…stella’s first farmhome golden hour, just after the three sisters made the 10 hour drive to nashville!
…it’s hard to believe minnie is 11, but she’s been so patient despite us always giving her more to tolerate at her old age! love that meemers.
…two babies! give me all the baby creatures. no one wants me to actually sleep, anyway.
…she loves all of her toys, and it’s so fulfilling.
…playdate for the sisters! tikka, kaiya, and stella.
…teaching her that the kiddos aren’t other pups to pounce on has been one thing, but she already loves them so much! i started having rocco work with her directly and give her little treats when she obeyed him, and they both did so great with it.
…stella and kaiya looking out at their kingdom 😉
…her little shoulders have brown coming in on them! i think it’s so pretty. her mom, luna, is solid black, so she get it from her dada.
…stella discovered she could get on and in things, and omg. rules=broken. but so cute. and i only wish i had footage of her trying to climb up the slide after the kids! it was precious.
…baby stella, three months old!!! mom habits die hard… how could i not?
…tikka and stella! they’re practically twins, but tikka has a white chin and is slightly smaller!
…aaaand the day arrived for stella’s 2 weeks at puppy training! she laid the affection on pretty thick that day, and it was so hard for me to leave her!
so! today marks 3 weeks since stella and her sisters moved south!! it’s been nothing but crazy, and to be honest… i’m completely exhausted. but i wouldn’t change a thing! i am so excited to have stella as a part of our fam. she feels like such a dream to me, and i love picturing our babes growing up with stella looking out for them. and yes, i’m apparently addicted to chaos! haha. as scattered as it makes me, my biggest fear is a boring household, and i think i’ve prevented it pretty well, right? 😉
anyway! the date finally came on wednesday for us to take stella over to “puppy kindergarten” for a two week stay. as we pulled away, rocco said, “but i can’t feep without stella!” and honestly, i had a hard time that first night, myself. i felt like i needed to be checking on her! i felt guilty about the separation. i was worried that she would forget us, and sad to miss 2 weeks of her growing. BUT! after three kiddos [and a husband who gets into just as much trouble! poor stevo is currently staying with his dad, healing from ACL surgery!], i’ve *almost* completely let go of my need to do everything myself, and learned to prioritize, delegate, accept help… and let the rest go!
stella is so smart, willing, and eager to please… it was obvious to me that she’s SO ready to learn more. and the people working with her now, i have been so excited about since long before getting a german shepherd puppy was anywhere near an option. they train incredible protection dogs for people all over the country, so a little puppy training should be a piece of cake for them, i assume! 🙂
we will be soooo excited to have our stella back! learn a lot, stella girl!!

I cannot get over those ears!!! I mean, adorable! I’m sure these two weeks will fly by and it’ll be so great when she comes home all well behaved and what not.

i mean, i cannot WAIT for her to come home with better manners. i’m over here still cleaning the paw prints off the bed swing. it takes a village, right! haha!!! but she’s honestly been really good for a puppy! so fingers crossed for the best!
