is there aaaanything cuter than a baby in footie pajamas? i literally think not. and after three babies, i’ve pretty well decided which are my favsies of all the options out there, price taken into consideration, as well. i want my babes to be soft, sweet, and cozy… keeping in mind they dirty their clothes daily and outgrow them in 2 seconds! [yes, hello, 5 month old wearing 9 month clothing!]
[…baby boy in each of my overall top 3!]
BABY PAJAMA FAVS!
1. kissy kissy – best quality and prettiest, most classic designs! this is the most i’m willing to splurge on baby clothes, personally. they’re still affordable, however! and you get your money’s worth because the quality is so good. i loooove how their pajamas wear. stains come out. the peruvian pima cotton fabric doesn’t pill or fade. these are easily my number one! also, they are beautiful for boys and girls… literally too many precious designs to choose from. i wish i’d started buying them when my first was a baby, but i just didn’t realize at the time! the noah’s ark jammies have now been through two boys and still look perfect. the bunny jammies are my current favs! and ohh, these tiny rose jammies for girls. i melt.
2. kickee pants – comfiest and most fun! i have a weakness for these because they’re sooo soft and stretchy and breathable. they’re a bamboo blend, and they just accent those chubby baby rolls sooo deliciously. ๐ and there’s a smidge of soft fleeciness on the interior of the little feetsies and it’s just the nicest extra touch! also, they have simple designs which i’m more partial to, but also some fun ones. i was so sad when baby boy outgrew his puppy jams. currently, i love these stripes on him [ruffly ones for girls, ahhh!], but obsessed with these herb print jammies as well!
3. carters – most convenient and affordable! honestly, does anyone get by without carters basics?! you can’t deny they have great essentials! and they’ve gotten so much cuter over the years. you just have to sift through because they still have some not so cute stuff. haha. but i always like the sweet, neutral options!
4. little me – these were my faaaavorite with my baby girl! gosh, all the floral jammies and these ballerina jammies were my absolute favs! they’re the ones i’ll never get rid of from when she was a baby. they’re just too sweet! i still get all emotional over them. i will say, these are on my list simply for the girly cuteness. the boys stuff is fine, but perhaps not quite so swoon worthy!!
5. magnetic me – wow, game changer!! i have loved these for middle of the night changes. nobody likes unsnapping a million bajillion snaps at 2am. and the zippers always leave the babes so chilly and exposed when they were previously cuddled up and warm!!! magnetic closure. nothing short of genius.
6. janie & jack – we currently have some that are really soft and simple and i have just always been a j&j fan, really!
7. old navy – i would say, as usual, it’s hit or miss… but their sleepers are underrated! well-fitting, soft basics. and of course, their sales are amazing!
8. baby gap – everyone loves baby gap! they have such good sales, as well.
9. gerber – okay, shoutout to being surprisingly great. they have really affordable footies in simple, tasteful patterns! they hold up decently for the price! i mean, i wouldn’t choose these for a day at the yacht club, but for nights and carpool runs and backup outfits? easy staple!
10. magnolia baby – again with the beautiful pima cotton!! i’ve had a few favorites of these with my boys that i won’t ever let go of. the cotton and the patterns are really precious. i love that they have a little bit of smocking on some of them! also, both my boys wore one of their convertible numbers like crazy. i will say, the seams came undone, which is disappointing, but an easy fix if i felt like it. didn’t stop us. i also have one of their gowns currently hanging in baby boy’s room, as he came home from the hospital in it! i’ll never put it away, so many feelings. <3
honorable mention to the simple, classic ralph lauren footie! we have one and only one and i love it. and disappointing? i’ve gotta be honest, burt’s bees baby. they fit oddly and the seams just fall apart. even so, we’ve had a bunch of them!! ha! oh well. ๐
xoxoxo
