i am so. so. so. excited for more afternoons like these! finally. finally! they’re back… the days of sunshine, bare feet, happy babies and golden evenings!
everything about this time of year [well, minus the seasonal allergies] helps me feel more grounded in a way… more connected to everything between heaven and earth… more peaceful! more… okay. haha. there’s a fresh kind of hope that comes with springtime, isn’t there?
having just celebrated easter, too, i love that everything feels especially full of life. it’s so symbolic! i’ve mentioned this before, but i read a book last year called heaven [literally a huge book about heaven], and it changed everything for me. it focuses mostly on eternity after the return of christ, when everything, even the earth will be resurrected… and to be honest, it gave me super a lot of relief because I LOVE EARTH! and i love, love looking at the most beautiful sunset sky… blooming flower… grand view… the things that, for me, connect heaven and earth even now… and imagining that it will one day be so spectacular that my mind now couldn’t even begin to imagine.
anyway, i just love earth and aaaaaall the things on it.
like my little bunny babes! and just WHY are my babies getting so big?! i cannot deal, i can’t. it’s blowing my mind daily! if they get too big and busy i’m going to have to pick up a hobby and that’s just plain dangerous, since obviously it’ll either involve shopping or animals. haha. but you know. i can’t be left alone with my thoughts, either, because that’s even more dangerous.
but all that’s neither here nor there now, is it! and currently i have a puppy to romp around so…
