hippity hop hop!

a smidge from palm sunday!

…whenever we have slightly less going on at our house [we’ve been down a doggy and a daddy], farm sleepovers are kiiiiind of a must!

…we managed to make it to sunday morning church with papa and gaga and chrissy and peshun, followed by a little lunch time pitstop!

…as baby luca slept in the car, we popped into the lower pasture for a minute. i had a vision of my bigger babes among those springtimey buttercups! and then, as mr. red came up to visit, maddalena grabbed my phone, rocco grabbed a handful of flowers, and oh, those two… they’re the best. good job, bunnies! and oh my gosh!!! these shots remind me sooo much of some of maddalena’s very first iphone shots of me and casey that she took almost exactly 5 years ago!! ohhh, time.

…it’s hard to see, but please note the little carrot in that squishy bunny boy’s back pocket! yum.

easter’s on its way!!!

naturally, the easter bunny is attempting aaall sorts of last minute basket prep […or so i hear…] because, wow, the easter bunny just has a lot of distractions these days. haha. the easter bunny is maybe needing to hop over to a caffeinated carrot patch and nibble for a while!

buuut anyway! over here we have a cuuuute new basket with the babiest bunny’s name embroidered in big white letters, and that is just plain happiness. so, assuming that easter bunny can get his flippin’ eggs in order, there shall be all sorts of cuteness come sunday morning!

most importantly, however! each night in our prayers this week, maddalena has been thanking jesus for what he did for us… and i think if her sweet heart got any bigger it would just explode! we’ve talked her whole life about jesus and how he is the meaning and the reason behind anything and everything, but i absolutely love hearing how much her days at school have enriched her knowledge and her spirit for it all. such a gift! i should add, also, that rocco insists upon enthusiastically leading the bulk of our prayers, which never gets old to me. it’s the sweetest thing ever! although, you are lucky if he lets you interject. 😉

so… hallelujah! and thank. you. jesus.

anyway, i better get shakin’ [omg just turned into my father] because hippity hop hop, the pest control guy’s on his way [ugh, wasps], and then we’re off to a kindergarten resurrection party before school’s out for the long weekend! PRAISE HANDS!
