for a person who cannot stand contact with most other human feet… baby feet absolutely melt me! those little balls of squish. i just can’t even deal.
anyway, luca bunny is my first baby to actually enjoy bath time, so far… okay, he’s basically enjoyed like, one bath because he realized he could stick his little toes under the faucet and he was sold. sold! also, luca’s feet go straight to his little hands when i lay him down, and it truly is happy baby pose. [like in yoga!] i mean… i love that baby so much.
and these things! these are the little, tiiiny details i don’t want to overlook just because life moves quickly these days. heaven forbid my boys look back and be like, “good job capturing all of maddalena’s babyhood, mom, buuuut what about ours?” my simple days with my baby boys won’t last forever, and just lately i’ve looked at rocco and seen such a big boy. which has happened waaay too fast!!! he is such a heartbreaker with his huge, beaming smile and swoony eyes. oh, rocco!
anyway. life update….?
luca, maddalena and i are currently playing my least favorite game called, “allergies or cold?” so far, i’m just blaming it on the weather, as nashville decided to go back to winter for a hot second on sunday. that was weird!
steven nailed his physical therapy for his acl repair this week, aaaaand is attempting to get back to work only a handful of days into recovery, so who is surprised? but go babe, yay! and fyi, if acl surgery is in your future… go ahead and procure recovery somewhere with ample leg-sticky-outty-room, minimal stairs to climb, and someone who can potentially lift you if necessary. aka… not our house. thank goodness his dad was willing to help care for him after surgery, and we go over there and hang out and take him stuff.
and! we got our first stella update! she looks happy and i could feel her warm snuggly wiggles as she followed the trainer around in the video they sent us. ahh, i love her, and it looks like she’s happy and doing great at training.
naturally, i’m endlessly undercaffeinated and avoiding stuff i just do over and over again every day… sooo… waitress! refill my yeti, please! ps. is it summer yet?! my babers did NOT want to wake up this morning.
xoxo!
