i LOVED getting to turn our teeny tiny guest room into baby luca’s nursery last year! at first, of course, it was all stress city. will this eeeven work? the room is pretty small! but, as it turned out, we were sure able to fit both a crib and twin bed better than i thought possible! and i will say… he’s got the very best closet. gah, i really love a good closet! anyway, almost everything in there we already had. third child perks. 🙂
[the L & branches are from michaels // in love with this little jellycat bunny, big jellycat fans over here // video baby monitor that we have in all the kids’ bedrooms // beatrix potter bunny book handed down from a sweet family friend! // for this child sign from my sis-in-law, from our favorite little spot, jollifrogs, i believe // watercolor bunny prints, unreal gorgeous… you print them yourself!! // wooden frames over bed from homegoods // wall shelf and two antique side tables from our most adored antique shop // noise machine – which will eventually be replaced by our very favorite noise machine // diaper cake made by my mommy dearest! topped with a bunny lovey, of course.]
i love how simple nurseries start out! they’re so minimal and tranquil, just right for a fresh new life. and then suddenly… it fills up! there is SO much more in there now that he’s born and the gifts have been received and items have been used and all that… and that’s the fun of it all! it becomes personalized to them. i just love how this little spot continues to evolve in a way that’s just right for my little bunny bambino. 🙂
and the best part! when we bought this house vs. now…

Love this neutral look – especially since we won’t know gender until he/she arrives! Where’d ya find the greenery sprigs around the L on the wall? And also the toy basket!? Still searching for some decor for ours! Thankssssas
