…the best we could do, at least, since most of my focus was going toward a fussy but adorable newborn 😉
it was such a mystery to us all year… would luca need a halloween costume or would he still be cookin?! so, i just planned for him to wear the same halloween jammies his sissy and brother wore as babes if he should be born prior to the festivities. and surprise!! he was indeed in attendance!!
and so, we had a construction worker [i mean technically he works in construction, but he’s not a construction worker, so it counts, right?], rapunzel [she’s a princess most years and i love it!], marshal from paw patrol [at first he just wanted to be a fire truck, but after some browsing he saw juuust what he wanted!], and! a little baby pumpkin!! oh, and clearly i was – and still very much am – a very terrifying mombie.
i’m just proud we made it out that night!! oh… aaand it was our very first time trick-or-treating here on our street in the three years that we’ve now lived here! we loved it. the evening was perfect. and we ended with a showing of it’s the great pumpkin, charlie brown. 🙂

Totally impressed you made it out, everyone in costume, and the cutest new pumpkin ever! You do not look like a mombie at all – gorgeous! Congrats on baby Luca. Your kids are so adorable!
