so, i have no real documentation of the evening-after celebration we had at our house for steven’s birthday [blame the bad fall evening lighting!], for which most of our fams and our very bestiest friday besties joined us! however, on his actual birthday… a thursday! the kiddos and i spent the day prepping his gifties, decorating the walls with ed sheeran and other handmade signs, then we stuck a candle in his steak [as cake’s not currently on his menu] and sang him a merry ole round of HBD! and it was good, i think! and we are so thankful for him and all that he does.
also, maybe it’s just me, but i love that if you have kids, you have an instant birthday party right there. no lack of enthusiasm and love between our two bunners! and for my birthday… we’ll have a third! yay! not to make it about me…
so, again… HBD, SRB!!! we love you!
aaaand about ed sheeran! 
after our fun evening with ed last weekend, i thought we’d just put him right there on the wall for chuckles and birthday greetings! making sure he brought our favorite bottle of chianti, of course. yes, i take some of the greatest pleasure in spending way too much time on things like giant ed sheerans, but if you ever need to make a big, big poster [ideally of ed sheeran, he is still here bringing much joy] on your home printer…

haha steak candles! his diet is basically keto and it’s all pretty much animal products. no cake! and we love the davinci chianti, but the kirkland brand from costco is really good, too!
