oh yes. official proof that we stayed out til midnight at shania twain last saturday! we went with some friends through steven’s work [thanks for the invite, friends!!], and were quite possibly the youngest and the tamest in the bunch. haha! the important points of the evening are as follows…
-i’d forgotten just how. many. hit. songs. shania had that totally made up 90s!
-also, i 100% approve of her glittery, sparkly dress choices. yes please. the leopard print i could go easy on, but i have no complaints!
-i’m still so entertained by how beautiful the “starlight” of everyone’s smartphones was in the darkened arena as shania dangled in the air. haha! what a time to be alive…
-um, ps. she is in her 50s with apparently more energy than i’ve maaaybe ever had. timeless, ageless, that woman! she really put on a show. it made me a little sad that i’m not going to t-swift in august. waa!
-although, at this point, my body does not care where it is when it starts shutting down for the night. i know i’ve always been a major night owl, but… i was freezing cold and ready for my pajamas at 9:30. and she’d only been on for 30 minutes! haha! …man. i feel like a [pregnant] woman.
-the miracle of the night is that my sister and her man got our children TO SLEEP!!! literally, no one can put rocco to bed but me. seriously, my sister is amazing. for so many reasons. 🙂
aaaaand then we recovered for a literal 24 hours. good times. high five! now, give me all the leggings from here on out [on sale – thou shalt not forget!!], please and thank you, because zippered pants are not currently my friends.
