i hope everyone had a really great easter weekend!! with, you know… juuust the right amount of bunnies, eggs, and candy… and hopefully plenty of family time!
our kiddos made cookies and crafts and did egg hunts with both of our families leading up to easter sunday… and then, of course the easter bunbun paid a visit! i only felt a mild level of mom guilt for again not quite making it to any giant bunnies for photographic opportunities, but my babes have never really taken kindly to that kind of event, anyway. i figured we could save our energy for santa! haha.
we also attended the very last church service at the church i’ve gone to since my middle school years, which was totally bittersweet! the final sermon got me way more emosh than i was planning to be, but hopefully it’ll be a good thing for everyone! although, um… we *may* be spending a few sundays in our jammies until we borderline get our lives in order. ha. ha. haaa.
sidenote!!! a lot of people seemed to love jesus christ superstar live that played on easter night… anyone watch? there was indeed a lot of talent featured, but YOU GUYS. watch the original one!!! i was raised on that stuff, and my whole fam plays the soundtrack every year. it’s so good and so powerful! the original beats the heck out of the little remake. just sayin. dooo it! 😉
also, the best part of easter weekend was that madd had friday and monday off, so i got bonus time with my girl!! buuut today we’re back at it… rocco doesn’t quite seem 100% [suspecting it’s just a molar popping through? i recently discovered that, to my surprise, he only has one of his two-year molars in!!], aaand i’m being super unsuccessful at ordering my groceries right now, so i better mosey. seriously, i’m the slowest human ever lately!

so odd! yesterday was 80 here and today a high of 50. i need more stability than that!!!! and ahh yes, last service because the church is moving… the land was sold to build a new public high school. a lot of people are just transitioning with the church, but we are looking at it as an opportunity for us to check out other churches!
