obsessed: a vacay mode mini-capsule!

CONFESSION: i’ve kind of nailed it with a few finds lately. perhaps you’ll recall that various ruffle-edged tops have been weighing heavily on my mind for some time? and all in all, well, i am just OVER winter wardrobes!! like, my sweater + legging combos are physically nauseating at this point. truly, i’m ready to sun my legs and paint my toenails!! so! here is baaaasically what i’ll be wearing on repeat once i’m allowed to experience warmth again! YAY!!

1. basic tank – i’ve had a growing collection of these for yeeears now. they say maternity, sure, but i got them long before babies, and they’re AMAZING. i wear them alone and layer them. i’ve worn them with a huge belly or nothing at all. it looks like they’re now selling them under a different brand name, but these look to be the same! and are what i’ll be restocking with, myself, because i cannottttt live without these. the white // black // and gray are my staples.
2. ruffle sleeved top – so, i’ve gone back and forth over potential ruffly shirts for some time now! and i finally tried these on… bought two… and they are perfect!!! the sleeves are so pretty. i got the black and pink but obviously i need the white as well! they’re true to size, but for me, i thiiink i would size up next time for a tad more length. i feel like my pink one shrank up in the wash a little. **this is now on clearance!!** aaand some sizes are sold out online. might have to check stores!
3. slouchy tank – these tanks are just what i’ve been looking for for ages! i now have the white and the black… the white and gray are more of a soft, almost sweatery texture, and the black, pink, and olive are a really nice looking, smooth material. the only thing about these is that they’re a bit boxy on me, personally. i’m normally a small, but for extra length and swingy-ness i got an XL. and yes, this makes the under arms large, but i like layering tanks or wearing cute underthings, so i’m fine with that! however, if you’re shorter waisted you’ll probably be fine. i just like a good amount length on my tops. **these are now on clearance!!!!!** i’m ordering more!
4. ruffly skirt – i rarely buy skirts or even like how they fit on me, which is why i needed one desperately… and i fell in. LOVE. with this one!!!!! this skirt is so dreamy and versatile!! i bought it in black, but blue and white is so pretty, too. i seriously probably need to get that one, as well.
5. bandit shorts – oh, hey, something not from target! and 0% budget-conscious!! but honestly, these are my every day summer shorts and i love them. i usually look for these on sale or search for a pre-owned pair… truly, though, they are just my favorites!! and i never want to be without them. i wear my regular jeans size in them, but they do stretch out and fit in a really low, slouchy way. if you have narrow hips you might size down.
6. swingy summer shorts – i got these in olive! and want them in black! i got an xs [which is sizing down for me], but i didn’t account for any shrinkage that may take place, so you could probably just get your regular size.
7. studded gladiators – i know there is nothing new about these [and if i were waiting on actual valentinos, i’d be waiting a long time, my friends!], but i still love them sooo so much. i think they’re pretty with absolutely everything!!
8. perfect beach to dinner sandals – ummm i love my havaianas. they are pretty and comfy and don’t absorb water… and also, look!!! at these!!! cuuuuuute!
9. the besttttt flip flops! – please tell me i’m not the only one who didn’t let go of their rainbow wearing ways after college??? there’s nothing quite so comfy! and mine are seriously like, completely molded to my feet. i could walk forever in them. rainbows forev!

anyway. minus the sandals, here’s the middle combo!

wait, isn’t this the loneliest mirror selfie there ever was?!? mirror selfie team!! assemblllleeeee!!!! i don’t like this solo game. but the point here is really… for the price i just think the pretty sleeves are everythiiiiiing. 🙂
