hi!!! oh, don’t mind me, i’m just a casual star casually doing what stars do, like sticking my arms straight out and stuff. i don’t know! the ushe. okay, but actually, i spontaneously signed up to be an extra on the show nashville last month, and had approximately *zero* clue what i was getting myself into [mostly a large and undisclosed amount of time spent waiting], but it was an interesting experience!! i’d have taken a whole bunch of crappy low-light photos, but… you’re not supposed to. anyway, we talked my sister into doing it today, and i can’t wait to hear her recap!!
i thought sending my baby girl off to school would get easier as time went on, but it’s actually getting harder. i miss our time together so much on those days. [and probably more dramatically at this point knowing that kindergarten is around the bend! but also, she and rocco play sooo well at home together now, and that’s part of it, too. it’s the whole thing, really!] HOWEVER!! little notes that her teachers send home like this one?!! that’s why she is where she is. she is thriving and it makes me so so happy for her growing heart. her teachers are aaaah-mazing, and genuinely want to fill these little souls with goodness!
i took baby boy on a breakfast date to a place i frequented mostly in high school… then got my hair cut by a friend from high school… and then picked up my baby girl from the same school… and like, is full-circle the weirdest or is it the weirdest?! also, rocco is in a phase where when he gets what he wants, he says, “MOMMY, I WOVE YOU, TOO!!!” sometimes throwing in a smooch, and i swear i will spoil him rotten for those moments. <3
out of curiosity, i moved the kids’ little table into the kitchen where the kids’ little kitchen had been… and put the little kitchen where the little table had been! and then i was overcome with fear of negative feedback… but everyone loved! this is big news. a successful re-arrangement!! but in bigger news, minnie is still loving her haircut. and never fear, the little bunnies have officially had their own trims. and steven, too. so that pretty much covers all of our hairs!
sunshine snugs with my sweetest maddalena girl after pajama day at school while brother bunny napped in the car! 🙂 OH, and i changed my newest little earring for the first time, and i’m in love!!! but i’ll be honest, i was kiiiind of nervous because i kept needlessly envisioning earring disasters on the chance that i hadn’t waited long enough. but yaaaay, tiny, pretty accessories!
aaand we found out our favsies are having a baby BOY at the end of the summer!! rocco will be delighted to finally have a manly young apprentice to take under his wing and pass along many a tractor/motor/truck/bulldozer sentiment! i am so thrilled for our best babes!!!
bonus items!!!
-aaare you kidding me with this incredible embroidery?! i am absolutely in love.
-i looooove this beautiful organic line for kiddos that you can get on amazon!!! completely affordable, too. i gaze at it all the time… and just ordered a few little thingies for easter!
-we have watched the new t-swift video a handful of times now and i love it and i love that she makes her videos fun to de-code. and i love her goofy dance moves. and i love that she just wants to be herself and not care.
–this ruffle sleeve tee in all colors looks like a good idea! can i just hand target my wallet and shop as i please? put it on my tab, peeps! i’m actually just really confused this time of year, because i am eyeing all the warm weather things and picturing beach strolls, but… i’m still cold.
hmmm… okay, i’m out of things. and there are cheerios scattered over the floor. so, happy day to you!
xoxoxo
