[rocco, is that your mouth, yet again, on a public surface?! what child is this?!]
you guys!!!! i have officially perused the spring magnolia hearth & hand line… and i have to say, just like when i watch fixer upper, there’s plenty that jo & chip do that i do not love. and then there’s a lot that i do love! but i often prefer a bit more glitz even in my farmy decor. so far, their target line has been suuuper understated [and a hair masculine?] for my own general likings. but still!!! those people! they love nature and animals and family and they make me smile and i. just. love. them. and then they go and come out with a *triangle dinner bell!!!!* and i melt!!! so, i want their items. i want their love and i want their items. and this is my wish list…
1. triangle dinner bell // 2. astilbe flowers // 3. eucalyptus wreath // 4. easter bunny tea towels // 5. white wire basket // 6. brass magnet clips // 7. old fashioned notepad // 8. 2018 planner // 9. kids’ coffee set
unfortunately, when we popped over to the store last week, very few of the magnolia h&h items that i’d been eyeing were actually there! boooo. i mean, i still truly need a 2018 planner, and was hoping to reserve that spot for my pretend besties. [the gaines, obvi. i can’t believe they’ve *almost* replaced martha in my life! not totally because i still love martha… but close!] and seriously, i kid you not, i want to snuggle the dinner triangle at night, dreaming of colorful chicken eggs and barn raisings and barefoot romps around the plantation.
back to reality… i did snag two swingy tanks while we were there! [sized up as much as possible to an XL because the length and the neckline, for me, are much too on the small side given the slouchy style of the shirt… but the material is nice! i’m so going to live in these.] and! some earrings. we got some things for my little bunny lady, too, who has outgrown her entire wardrobe. anyway, these successes indeed made up for the fact we made 1 trip to the bathroom per small human!
anyone else got their heart set on a targ trip?! hahahaha. anyone else. yeah. like, what else do girls want?
xoxoxo!

I do think their line is very understated. Classics for sure but nothing too showy. I just love allllll the stoneware!!! I have issues in target with wanting to buy everything.

i’m a bit torn, but still, i applaud them!! because while i’m personally a little disappointed in how underwhelming the general aesthetic is, i love that there’s something for everybody!!! and i do also love the principle of simplicity. and the fact that they were all “dinner bell” just kills me. bring me that dinner bell right. noooow!!!
