…fuzzy leopard socks and all. SCARY I KNOW!!! but, on the flippity, HOW CUTE is that baby man of mine? aaand naturally, this domestic wildlife photography of sorts was captured by none other than the woman of the house, miss maddalena rose. 😉
SOS!!!!!
please tell me i’m not the only one in survival mode??? someone in our household has been sick one right after the other for the full month of december so far… but actually, it’s been off and on since school started, and i’m feeling certain at this point that i’m actually starting to lose it!!
oh, but also… here’s how i know i’m definitely not the only one in survival mode: we headed out yesterday evening in search of a walk-in clinic experience [insert PTSD from rocco’s horrifying eye situation], and all. the. clinics. were. FULL! and closed. however, the front desk lady at one took pity on us and said she felt like maddalena most likely had the viral upper respiratory deal that is really going around right now [who knew?] and gave us a good direction to go in. but WHEW! i was about to go in to full meltdown mode in the middle of walgreens until that beautiful woman with the african sounding accent gave me a glimmer of hope.
anyway. all that to say… right now i am sure thankful for grocery pick-up, prime now delivery… okay, any kind of delivery in general… and umm. coffee. thankful that loungewear is in and cute because that sure makes me happy. thankful for christmas cheer! and living on a prayer.
in other news!! this weekend, we did manage to conquer m’s dance recital, meet a goat, nibble on astronaut ice cream, apply a good number of gold tattoos, and remain alive and recovering [or so i hope!]… sooo!!!
here’s to good health, comfy sweaters, and twinkly lights… because christmas is COMING!!!

I love how you’re in survival mode and you look absolutely fabulous. I am sorry though about sick kiddos. Goodness this time of year being down and out is the absolute worst! You lose so much of the month! The poor babes don’t want to miss a thing! It’s awful. School is the culprit if you ask me!
