…oh, and a black cat. duh. my back-up plan is always to throw on all black and some ears… and really, it’s my fav. but i did wonder just why my cat ears were so small this year? you could barely see them… and honestly, they looked more like minnie’s pomeranian ears. so then, i actually found my regular cat ears… and my tail… after halloween! and why i have two sets of fuzzy black years, i’m just not so sure… maybe something to do with all the years i’ve just decided to be a black cat… because any excuse to slink around in all black is oookay with me!
maddalena was all set to be elsa this year, when she told me last minute that she was going to be belle. belle in a white dress, which was totally fine with me because she already had that dress! i think this mostly had to do with two of her friends saying they were going as belle. so, belle in a white dress she was! and she looked quite lovely!! that’s my very favorite princess dress of hers, so i was all for it. 🙂
and rocco could. not. have. been. more. pumped. to dress as his bff curious george, whom he lovingly calls “ah-ho.” it was everything i dreamed it would be to watch him frolic and bounce around dressed as that curious little monkey!!!! if he would agree to wear it every day, i would be in heaven. oh my.
steven carried a hard hat so he could be a construction worker… really, i think it was mostly to get a little happy dance out of rocco, which went according to plan! rocco is all about a construction site, leetttt me tell you!! ah-ho and big machines are the way to that boy’s heart.
anyway, we went over to our forever bfffffs’ neighborhood [we met back when we were neighbors, it’s only right that we still do neighbor things together, yes?!] and it is a paaarty over there! a party where the theme is *where’s my child, where’s my child, where’s my child,* but the bunnies had a blast and i loved watching them so so so much!!
so there it was. ‘ween seventeen! in the books! and ooon to the holdays! can you believe it?! i’m a little bit in denial. i need an oxygen tank to go up against time this year, i’ll be honest. and an IV drip of coffee. you know how i do!
xoxoxo

Brittany says
i’ll be honest, i’m not ready for the holidays!!!! i don’t quite think i’ve adjusted to adult holiday pressures… may take a few more decades, haha!

Oh how I wish we still did Halloween with our neighbors! But sadly no. Sniff. It’s ok though because: family. Comes first as they say. Where’s my child! Love and know that theme so very well! Love the costumes! Her hair is getting so long! And the monkey! I can’t! Love it!
