a few nights ago, i snuck outside after everyone went to sleep to clip the pretty hydrangea blossoms off of one of my baby plants out front… and i have had nooooo regrets!! it feels amazing to have pretty pink blooms in my kitchen as the colors outside are beginning to fade, you know?!
also, super important! if you refrigerate your flowers while you’re asleep or away from home they will last soooo much longer. it’s a miracle! you probably know that, though. i was just late to the game… and then, when the lightbulb went off it changed my floral life!
anyway, more about old lady stuff i’ll be doing for the rest of my life: i’ve really settled into which coffee cup i use on what day. so many days lately, i use this one, because it’s basically my love language: pink and gold, serves me coffee, and tells me pretty little lies right upon waking!!
and!! happy halloween!!! what are you being? i’m nothing so far! [waa!] but half the time, i just wind up being a cat, which is my favorite thing to be. i love being a cat for halloween aaalmost as much as steven loves being a pirate. haha. okay, maybe more. so if you see a black cat sipping wine and attempting to follow an itty bitty curious george and tiny queen elsa… it may be me! again! 😉

Hope you guys had a great Halloween! We never dress up but we really should! Lame parents I guess?? Somehow we survived and the kids still made it on the bus so. Winner! And I’m envious of your floral game!
