so, our back yard is far from bursting with blooms, as we’ve only just gotten started on it all… but each day there’s been a little something gorgeous to appreciate! a big magnolia blossom… a hint of pretty lavender! [the first lavender i haven’t killed!!!] beautiful little glimmers of hope for what’s to come. there’s just nothing like a pretty blossom, is there? 🙂
also, i’m in love with olive trees! in love. like, i want to cuddle olive trees at night. is this one too good to be true?!?! WANT!
i’ve had this up in my browser for at least a week. haha. faith & tim’s private-island bahamas home iiiis an absolute dream! “we basically had to build a little town.” nbd.
beautifully written!! rob lowe on sending his son off to college. i personally think this is an especially good read for parents of little ones right now. really give perspective on how fast time goes, how important every moment is… and made me want to go ahead and read his whole book. 🙂
have you heard of the whole enneagram personality type deal?! i have taken a few of the free online tests [just googled for ’em!] and at first one told me i was a 6 [the loyalist] and then one told me that i was a 4 [the individualist]. reading the descriptions for both, i literally feel like i’m almost exactly both. then i took another that had both 6 and 4 as top scorers for me. interesting! anyway, i have always been obsessed with birth order and the myers-briggs stuff [enfp here!], so i finally just had to know what enneagrams could tell me!!
i just got some new favorite shorts in a size down from the ones that i already have [so they’re less baggy], and i loooove them!! i love both fits, honestly, but hopefully these won’t sag as much when they stretch out. [full disclaimer: i found them late one night for half off, major score!! but now they’re sold out at that source. it was totally a stroke of luck!]
happy, happy weekend celebrating dads!!! xoxoxo

I can’t even with the sending off to college! No! Too soon! And here’s to all the blooms! And olive trees! Why can’t I live in a Mediterranean climate where they would be so happy!!?
