[before churchy yesterday!! m is for real about her poses, and i am heart eyes all. the. way. that girl. she carries my whole heart in her little pink purse. i mean, i’m definitely not fashion blogger material, buuut i think she’s got her future in the bag, should she so desire… haha! also, rocco and his semi-wet hair in my attempt to almost manage it. oh, how i love that little wild boy! ♡]
[my handsomes in blue!!! rocco’s sweet little arm… i melt!]
[oh, siblings!!]
[roses and ruffles sleeves are seriously, seriously my weakness.]
[she takes such good care of her baby brother!! i’m thankful every day that they have each other.]
[love my little crazy hair clan! :)]
if i’m being completely honest, something that quite often holds me back in life is fear. okay, there was a time that i really wanted to go skydiving, but that was definitely before my sense of adult responsibility kicked in… 😉 and by this point that is loooong gone!! but i realize now that fear in so many realms has held me back for years. it’s just part of my personality! from fear of failure, conflict, or embarrassment to fear of danger, pain, or loss…
yet, here i am, fortunate enough to sit cozily sipping coffee in my own home, watch my happy babies grow, worship freely at our church, shop for fun, cute clothes just because we want them, care for our health needs whichever way we choose, spend time with our loved ones, and in general feel safe as i go about my daily life.
i get to live all of this because brave men and women kiss their loved ones goodbye, often for the last time, and set aside their fear to go out and protect. our. country. there are no words to properly express the gratitude i feel for all this! but truly, i am so so thankful for all the dedicated military men, women, and families that travel and move all over the world, working so hard for our safety… and for this beautiful country that my babies get to grow up in! barefoot, catching fireflies, and learning about their creator without fear. we are so blessed!
HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!!
[ps. all my patriotic holiday dreams came true when i found this dress!!! and our besties found these precious jelly sandals with m’s name on them and she’s definitely never going to take them off. :)]
