why, hello there, friday!! hello there, friends!!
so, i mentioned a whole week ago today that we took our fluffy little minnie to get groomed for the very first time in her 9 years of life! i feel like it makes me sound like a slacker fluff mom to say that, honestly, but her fur was always really easy to maintain myself until just recently. however! now that she’s a mature gal, i thought some regular spa days in her life would do her some good!! she came out smelling like a rose with a pretty little bow in her hair. we just could not stop fussing over her! and oh, i know it made her so so nervous. i’ve literally never just left her anywhere except for when she was spayed at 6 months old! and back then, i totally cried. [an accurate foreshadowing of motherhood for the rest of my life. :)] but minnie belle [first and middle name, of course!] did so great and the people that groomed her are complete angels. i hope she felt fancy and special, because she sure looked it! welcome to adulthood, meemers! 😉
on a similar note!!!! if you’ve attempted to pop in at all this week, you may have noticed [or not!] that i finally got this little bloggy here groomed, as well! a full facelift, if you will. we’re getting all settled in our wordpress nest, and it feels good!! [shout out to lisette for taking care of things so wonderfully!!] we should be all sorts of spruced up and responsive and mobile friendly and lalala internet words, but if you notice anything that needs tweaking, please let me know!
ps. after minnie’s grooming appointment last friday, we just had had had to get out and play in the late afternoon sunshine, even though it was so so chilly… and gosh, it made me totally ready for springtime to hurry up and get here!!! groundhog, just what are you thinking with this 6 more weeks business?! next year, i say we bribe ole phil! 😉

Look at you saying goodbye to blogger! The thought makes me so very nervous but sounds like you had some excellent help! And look at Minnie all prettied up! The bow is an excellent touch. The sun has been soooo MIA lately I am over it. I feel like I’m wilting ha!
yesss, you know how long i’ve been thinking of making the jump! definitely not a DIY situation anymore, but i’m excited!!! and the sun is out here today but NOT warm! totally wilting with you!
