we had a little practice round with our costumes yesterday, as we headed to our little local library for a halloween story + activity time. earlier in the week, maddalena was a “winter fairy” for costume day at dance class… but once that was out of her system she was ready for a little change of plans!! it didn’t take us long to land on…
mermaid and pirate!!! and gooooodness, i love them so!!!
but oh, my poor babies… they both have been a smidge “off” lately. and then, even though rocco still seemed to feel decent yesterday, he’s got a new tooth trying to break through and subsequently came down with a fever! i’ve already spent half the day trying to get him to sleep [and don’t even get me started on the last two nights], although so far we’re still just ridin’ along on the struggle bus! haha.
but! hopefully trick or treating with friends tonight will be a fun time! 🙂
happy happy halloween!!!
aaand of course, a few shots from the library that are like, “let’s semi-remember this, but not in too much detail…” 😉 but as always, thank you to my mommy for being my backup!!
