leafy escapades in my favorite trail spot!! this fall has been so beautiful and so pleasant. and while i always have a little part of me wishing i could walk down a charming new england street lined with red fallen leaves… fall in tennessee my very favorite kind! and oh, these photos threw me right back to these leafy little fall shots from when maddalena was rocco’s age… gets me all kinds of sentimental! <3
so, a quick tale from the wee hours! last night [well, technically this morning], maddalena came to get in our big bed at 4am… and as usual, i turned to slide rocco over and make room for her… but when i looked over? rocco. wasn’t. there. i panicked!!!! where is rocco??? where is he? oh my gosh, is steven on top of him?? did he fall off the bed??? where is he? is he breathing? it’s 4am, where the heck is my baby?!? i was about to wake steven up because i was freaking out. and then i realized… rocco was still in his crib!! what?! what?! i put him down around 10pm… and he was still there!! no, it wasn’t a terrifying situation at all. it was a miracle!!! we are co-sleepers by nature, and rocco still nurses a lot at night… so, this is not the usual sleep scenario in our house! and as much as i’m always wishing my babies slept a bit more soundly, well, i’m definitely not used to it. oh, and poor maddalena… she had to stand there in her sleepiness next to the bed and wait out my moment of panic and confusion! oh my, myyy, i don’t take to change in routine well! haha! safe to say i got my girly all snug under the covers then hopped right out of bed and zoomed down to rocco’s room to peep in on his sweetness. 🙂
aaaanyway! i just watched a video that made me laugh… husbands make fun of crunchy wives. “i’ve been diffusing platypus tears.” yes! ordering platypus tears immediately. 😉
my girlfriend shared a link to some encouragement i know a lot of overwhelmed women could use.
my heart pretty much stopped when i saw this absolutely heavenly porch bed swing scenario!!! those chunky ropes! the tassley throw!! furry pillows! and oh, all that land!!
don’t forget to use the code CHARMED on some beautiful silhouettes before october is over!! still soooooooooo in love with ours.
i really need to snag another pair of my faaavorite skinny jeans before the arrival of chilly weather!
aaand sweet sarah’s pumpkin-filled fireplace is my favorite decor of the season. <3

Haha oh no! Those type sceneries happen often in our house! And they are so scary! But with a husband who sleep walks it happens sometimes. And now I've started sleep walking too! Just last night I woke up in Letty's bed. I guess my asleep self just needed some Letty cuddles.
