last saturday turned out to be sooo beautiful! it started out gray and i was going to be majorly bummed because i was totally in need of a good, classic, summertime farm day. but!! the sun came out and the pool was perfect and the evening was golden as could be.
and gosh, iiiii just love so much that at 6pm you still have an hour to go until golden hour is at its prettiest! summer evenings, you have my whole heart!

The golden hour sure is magic! And at the farm especially it appears! I don't know how you guys ever leave that place! I say lets just move back in with our mamas. That's a thing, right? I had a moment the other night when we broke our rules and let the big kids stay up and all that and I was so sad. I'm pretty sure my strict bedtime is robbing them of part of their childhood. Summer nights. The best!
golden hour never ceases to amaze me!!! it is absolutely my fav. and iiiiii cannot even tell you how grateful i am to live 5 minutes from the farm now. hallelujah! and ha summer nights are the best… but so are bed times, so i get that. 😉
