one year ago, it was nearing 4:30 in the morning when i had my first of so many snuggles with the squishiest, most perfect little prince on earth! and oh, this world has been an even better place ever since. oh, my rocco! he is charming and magnetic. thoughtful and adventurous. cuddly to no end. [yay!!] he’s a complete and total dreamboat of a tiny gentleman… and now!!! he is one. year. old!!!

happy birthday, my love!! you are the star of all our hearts around here. you are happy and fun and delicious, head to toe. your smile is brighter than the sun and your laugh is completely contagious. you love when we sing you twinkle twinkle. you love to know how things work. all your dreams would come true if i let you play with plugs and outlets… and you love to put things in the dog water bowl. 😉 you are affectionate, funny, strong, curious, and loving. you are all about the sound effects!! oooh, such a boy! you mimic the dog barking, silly sneezes, sister’s stubborn shouts, and you do the cutest little motor noises with your mouth. you are walking like a champ and you love to climb! you love spotting the choochoo train as it goes by, and you adore animals. you now have 6 teeth! your eyes twinkle like light reflecting off the ocean and your gaze is ridiculously dreamy. <3 you hang in there with our family craziness so well! but i know we both cherish the quiet times that you and i get to sneak away and snuggle together. 🙂 you’re the best ever to share a good laugh with, and a thousand lifetimes could never be enough time to spend with you. thank you for being such an amazing part of our family!! WE LOVE YOU forever and ever!
