spring is coming! for many of us, vacation is coming! and!! EASTER IS COMING!! hippity hop hop! easter’s on it’s way! 🙂
soooo… about all that… i mean, are you like me and trying to prep for a handful of things at once? because i feel like i have quite a juggle going! one of those obviously being easter prep for my babies!
when it comes to easter, bunnies and lambies are the cutest and the best. it’s also tremendously important to me that my own little lambies always understand the true meaning of easter and what Jesus did for us. at an age-appropriate level, of course! which can be tricky!!
lucky for me, zonderkidz is helping me out this easter!! they sent me some amaaaazing little books to put in my little ones’ easter baskets this year. and they want to send the bundle to one mama-friend of charmings, here, as well!
the precious books up for grabs here to surprise your bunnies with on easter morning aaaare…
maddalena, my little animal lover, she adores the story of the ark!! and as it turns out her baby brother is an animal lover, too. they are going to loooove this one!
it’s always been very important to steven and me, to make bedtime prayers a staple in our routine! and oh, the precious little illustrations here are so sweet.
this one is The Purpose Driven Life for the tiny ones 4 and under!! and oh! the gorgeous bunnies!!
this gives some fun interaction with lift-flap letters from God to little ones. i remember loving books like this, myself, growing up!
a fun way to introduce themes and stories from the bible! and it’s a padded board book, which is definitely perfect for baby adventurers, yes? ha!
SO!! if you want these little titles in your babes’ [or nieces’ & nephews’] baskets this year, leave me a quick comment!! i’ll pick a winner tonight, because we want those bookies to arrive in time for the easter bunny to stick ’em in little baskets, of course. 😉
[ps. photo from easter last year! how time flies! and remember these sheepies? because i almost forgot! cute little sheepies! those were fun.]

I sort of feel like you won't be surprised that I started their baskets like…. Two weeks ago maybe? But I'm wishing I hadn't because then I got all these great ideas AND Matt has been digging into the candy stash. You are so right about age appropriate Easter discussions. Goodness that can get dark (for a kid) real quick.
LifeofCharmings says
zero, ZERO percent surprised!!! you're sooo good at that!!

We are some major book hoarders over here and I can't believe we don't have these! They sound amazing! I just love your blog, we are name twins and sometimes I think you are reading my mind with your thoughts so thanks for sharing

As book lovers, my husband and I are trying to instill a love of reading in our 14 month old son – and these books would be perfect! He loves to sit on my lap and turn the pages, and he is starting to identify things on pages, such as the kittens in Good Night, Moon. So precious!
