so like… i LOVE my bathtub….
…before this bathtub, i had no idea what i was missing…
…in this tub i can sprawl the length of my whooole self, wash my hair with the handy, heavenly spray thing, admire its pretty feetsies! i mean, there were a number of questionable decisions made in this house, as we’ve discovered… but this tub? very much one of the best!
so, even though it’s not too often i actually get a good, relaxing soak in… when i do, i’m getting a nice little recipe down! goes something like this…
water temp: boiling! i like my baths hot hot hot. gotta make it count, you know?
music: lang lang, for sure <3
relaxing beverage: daytime? prosecco. night? chianti, please!! extra healthy vibe? lately, kevita sparkling probiotic drink! [i picked the lemon ginger up at the grocery and liked it a lot! organic, non-GMO, has ACV, lemon, ginger, & probiotics, and is way tastier than when i try to concoct anything similar at home! plus, it’s fizzy so it’s fun. :)]
very important: BUBBLES!! honest company makes a fabulous bubble bath!
hair: honest company shampoo works for me + jason conditioner [i’m not saying this is the absolute purest conditioner out there, but it’s better than most. my hair is picky when it comes to conditioning, so i’m sticking with it for now!]
soap: dr. bronners organic castile soap, all the way
wrap up: we have garnet hill’s monogrammed bath towels, and they are beautiful and fluffy! i just decided, actually, that we need to go ahead and get individually monogrammed ones, so we know his from hers. constant towel confusion over here! ha!
slather on after: i’ve been lo-o-oving trying out BUTTERelixir body oil and face oil! [they were nice enough to send me some samples!] i’ve already been sold on moisturizing with oils, and these blends are magnificent! especially here in the middle of winter my skin is needing sooo much love. also, the face oil is my fav because it has rose in it, and oooh, you win me over with rose anything! rose is my fav on so many levels, from healing to aesthetic. i also use honest company‘s body lotion and just plain ole coconut oil out of my hugongous costco tub. π
…and voila!!

ooo this looks right up my new oily alley π Just started using honest shampoo and I'm loving it and you know how I love Jason!

p.s Do you do the honest bundle? Going to try my first delivery this month…chose to try the laundry detergent, multipurpose cleaner, foaming hand soap, healing balm and dish soap. We are big fans of the burts bees res-q ointment over here but maybe we'll like the healing balm better? Let me know if there are any others you recommend π

what in the heck! did I miss a post where you shared where you bought this beauty?! that tub is magic as are these photos! and thanks for the recs- I'm always on the look out for lotions sans the yucky stuff!

no clue where tub is from, the previous homeowners bought it!! although, there was a giant made in china sticker still smack on it when we moved in, haha. so, not an antique, i can assume that much!

Yeah I've been having some skin and winter issues right now. Maybe I'm just allergic to the cold. And it's supposed to be uber cold this weekend so I'm thinking draw the curtains and see you Monday type of thing? Your tub is amazing and your little tub recipe has been feeling like I'm missing out!!
