sooo, we did it!
as of this week we are officially homeowners twice over!!
aaand it’s crazy… just crazy and exciting
and a good bit nerve wracking!
our little housey that we’ve lived in for 7 whole years is all us.
we built it. we picked the finishes.
when it flooded two years in we put it back together
with upgraded finishes that we loved. and still love!
and we know every detail of it all.
so this? this is a whole new adventure!
this house is older. it has booboos. it has secrets.
this house has 1,000 different doorknobs.
this house has black trim and even black outlets
in rooms we’re painting white. haha!
but! this house has a dreamy master bathroom. [claw foot tub!]
a sunroom that stole our hearts.
room for our family to grow and guests to stay!
this house is something we prayed about
until we just couldn’t let it go despite any imperfections…
because we had a vision of what it could be with us all snug inside!
so, this house is getting a little bit of a facelift. 🙂
[or maybe more like… lipo? haha.]
i’m so excited for it all to come together.
plus, by the time we’re getting settled it’ll be
about time to put up the christmas tree!!

Congrats! It's the best feeling! We still haven't gotten around to fixing up our house yet and we've been here almost 4 months now! But during Christmas break is the plan. Cannot wait to see more pics of the new house. xoxo
