welllll, i am currently having quite the proud sister month, because not one but BOTH of my sweet not-baby siblings are graduating college this month!!
first up this last weekend was my most wonderful brother, stephen! and sidenote: he has had many nicknames over the years, but now half the time all i can call him is “coggin” because that’s how maddalena said “uncle stephen” when she started talking. although, now that she’s basically a tiny adult, she seems very tempted these days to use the actual words “uncle stephen,” at which point i’m like “no! coggin! coggin!” because it’s the best nickname she could have ever created, so i’ll be calling him that til he’s 40. he’s soo lucky i didn’t have it engraved into his graduation gift instead of his monogram. 😉
anyway!! stephen’s college is about 2 hours away, so we loaded the whole fam up that morning and rolled on out to clap and eat and celebrate…
[ordinarily, i don’t eat mcdonald’s, and i literally just read an article about how many artificial ingredients they still use [ugh, come on!]. hooowever, i am occasionally open to turning off my senses for an egg mcmuffin, because convenience and YUMMM! but fortunately, i’m usually only up and out the door early enough for this kind of indulgence if it’s some kind of travel day, so, it’s rare. and hey, starbucks totally keeps their less-horrible equivalent going all day. 😉 ps. i mean, hooow pregnant is this paragraph right now?!]
[caught with my love by the momarazzi // ceremonial sibling snapchatting, of course!]
[yaaaaay baby brother, i’m so so proud!! he makes me so glad that maddalena’s getting a brother of her own!]
[cutest parents ever award! i love when they stroll like this. and what a pretty town to stroll through!!]
[my sweetest sweeties! // so much sibling love <3 although, i had no idea christina was totally outsistering me like that.]
[group shot at the most deeelicious restaurant! and all that exposed brick, i was in heaven. the ceiling was gorgeous, too, and i won’t bring up the honey butter and rolls or the fried pickles, i really won’t.]
[a hungry and patient little lady with our graduate // classic backseat sister snap… i know my glamorous snapchat faces are such a blessing to my acquaintances. i know.]
[aaand that night! …we crashed. :)]
and so!!! congratulations to our beloved coggin! i love my fam so very much… and i am officially the proud sister of one graduated sibling with one more to go next weekend. her name is lovebean. and i do actually get that nickname personalized on items for her. can’t wait to celebrate for round two! <3
