i love it when those little things happen in regular daily life that kind of make you just high-five yourself, you know!? i’m not really an actual high-fiver of other people over the age of like, 6… but there are definitely times for the mental self-five! and i do not let them get away from me, ooooh no i don’t…
…like snagging 54 little baby hangers, 16 sheets of glossy photo paper, a box of envelopes, a bag of cotton balls & 2 little easter goodies for madd and baby brother all for $16 at the dollar tree? ooooh yeah, my dolla tree game is on fiyaaah. just don’t get any cosmetics there, they say? something about lead. not too tempted.
…and the giiiinormous bag of clothing i just sent in to thredup, only to turn around and use the discounts i already had to place an order [which naturally included a couple more “princess rosey dresses” for maddalena for this summer! she ooonly wants to wear dresses most of the time, and they have to be approved by her as the “princess rosey” sort.] ahh, so good! and now i already have a new stack going to send in more, and this just might be my favorite game. not to mention my flowiest heart t-shirt and maddalena’s cutest pink ruffle shorts: wildfox and baby gap, respectively! via thredup! [my referral link, by the way, gives a $10 credit to new signer-uppers.] OH boy, do i live for a good snag these days. i also recently had my first craigslist selling experience [terrifying!], my first ebay selling experience [gratifying!], and my first poshmark purchasing experience [fascinating!] so… there’s the addiction i’m currently facing?
…i have the prettiest, prettiest little bright pink blossoms blooming up all over my little mama/baby succulent!! makes me feel all springy inside! oh, and i planted some garlic that i found already sprouting in the fridge, and it seems to be growing happily! so, weeee will see how that one goes…
…last week, maddalena slept in her very own big girl bed until 7:30 in. the. MORNING! now, of course this is normal for some families, sure… but little fact about myself: uhhm, i slept in my parents’ bed til i was… oooh, five years old. we are not sleeper-aloners, k. and even though i’m pretty sure maddalena woke up a little ticked off about it, and i hardly slept a wink all night wondering if my child was actually okay [and kind of missing her little warm body!], i was so proud!!
…a whole baby changing table, two large baskets, two medium baskets, two tiny baskets and a couple of picture frames: successfully painted for the new baby boy nursery! and then i was *almost* devastated when i got ivory paint on my beloved black zellas. noooo, NO, there was some mild panic involved, and i was about to be seriously mourning a great loss. but wouldn’t you know it, i found stain-removal successsss and those babies are sure lookin’ good. as. NEW! maj martha stewart fives happening all around right there.
…weather here in the upper 70s!! glorious GLORY! monday even hit 79, and i’m all 80 or bust, so that was pretttyyyyyy daaaaarn close! and heavenly. just heavenly! spriiiiing is coming!! and more importantly, summer! bring the heat, baby! and well, this year… bring the baby, baby!
…aaaaand a handful of tix to my favorite place on this whole globe, BOOKED!! finally, after way too long of a winter, this girl will be sanity-bound in T minus… well, i don’t know how long, i’m not gonna do any math today, really. 🙂 but, oh my gosh, i am ready, so ready, so ready.
hokay, keess keess!

hehe when we have days like that in the springtime my dad will always go, "ahhh reminds me of summer in pittsburgh!" which is… not where you live. 😉 but closer than we are!!
