…at bobbie’s dairy dip! yaaay!
wednesday was just beauuuuutiful, as the days have surely been lately! and so my ladybug and i had ourselves a little lunch date together before our little shopping date together. and gosh, that’s the best. i’ve always wanted someone that does everything with me all the time! and i know i say this constantly, but i am in love with age two. it’s just such a good combination of hilarious and sweet and so fun with a totally appropriate amount of sass sprinkled on. 😉
anyway, you see, i feel like steven is always going to all these snazzy restaurants for work and telling me about slash sending me photos of his fancy meals, and coming home with casual updates all like, “oooh yeah, i had lunch today at *nameofdelicioussteakrestaurant* and then la la la golf tomorrow, rough week.” okay, maybe he’s not always doing that [no, and even if he was, he sure earns it. he works hard!!! i love you, boo!], but! he does it more often than i do, and sometimes all i have to respond with is something along the lines of, “i ate a lot of cheese today?” glamorous, glamorouuus! but, also, i love cheese. sooo…
so then i’m like, HEY! we have bobbie’s dairy dip and shopping, k!!! bobbie’s always delightfully reminds me of stopping off for a shake before or after doctors appointments when i was preg with maddalena, and those were such happy happy times. and since lately i’d been waiting for just the perfect weather conditions to go and sit at bobbie’s for just a spell, maddalena and i took our currently also very happy selves right on over, and we texted pictures to make stevey all jeal [i’m just sure it worked!], and we missed him.madd proudly indulged in her hotdog with the bun, which was a step in a new direction, you know, hotdog wise [i really try to keep her away from those enriched white bready preservativey things, but i figured she’d discover the bun option soon enough! also, though, we eat pretty well and simply at home, so i try not to feel too guilty when we go out and have fun.], and i rounded out the cuisine with a delicious cheeseburger. it was the perfect end-of-summer little mama/baby date!
and the gloomy clouds of today tell me it was perfect timing, too! helloooo, fall!
ps. it’s october 3rd. 😉

Look at her face holding that bun and dog combo! She is a perfector of the side eye and adorableness. It only gets better. Having a little buddy with you. I love the conversations you get to have and it gets so much easier running errands or going to the movies or what not the older they get.
