also, recently, i’ve realized slash admitted that my favorite time of day is pretty much when i’m all snuggled up and cozy in bed… everyone’s asleep around me… and i can just browse amazon on my iphone and add things to my cart. first off, i really loooove being the last person awake and seeing my sweeties all lookin’ like peaceful angels. and… what a dream, that amazon shopping, right! and then i maybe get on pinterest and look at pretty things. and then i remember all sorts of things to google! i get all informed and stuff. i mean, iphones!! i love them. because… back in the day, you just snuggled up and stared at the black ceiling until you fell asleep. but that’s just terrible. and back in my day, i just picked up my huge laptop and heated my lap into a fireball until i was sleepy. so, iphones in bed? i’ll allow it. well, iphones in my bed. for me. [just adding this as a note to my one day pre-teen children.]
but on that note, maddalena has a major celebrity crush, okay. his name is curious george. i really really didn’t want to jump into the letting my baby watch tv thing… but somewhere around 18 months, we started with some CG [in our house, steven and i have to call it CG… in code… if we don’t want to remind her that she wants to watch it obsessively 24/7], and she is… in love, basically. we talk about george all the time around here. “djoje,” she says. and i seriously think that show is hilarious. am i a toddler at heart? probably, yes. i think toddler life is the most fun.
unrelated: i got some of those kids multivitamin gummies at the store, and then i ate most of them. they’re like candy. because they are candy. vitamin candy.
and breaking news: i was going through photos just today, and found a really embarrassing array of k.stew/r.pattz twilight pictures on my laptop. “this is ridiculous!” i thought to myself. and then i looked at them. and now i kind of want to reread it? #teenmom #embarrassedfaceemoji
well, off to the post office we go! END SCENE!

Best rambling post either. We're like brain twins…thinking the same thoughts.
And I'm going to be honest, I still friggin love Hanson. I went to their concert last October and I'm not exaggerating it was the best concert I've ever been too. I also drank some of their beer Mmmhops{yes it true} and it was amaze. ALSO even though we're all like 30 now and have like a cajillion kids between us, I'm pretty sure I'd still marry any of them.

i have been to a few of their shows as an adult, too, and i agree!! they are still fabulous!! and way too adorable! 😉 yep. still love 'em! and i'm glad you liked the mmmhops!!! i think that name is genious, but i'm not much of a beer person, so i have yet to look for it/taste it.

Love all these random mom thoughts! Chandler is my favorite Friend, but Joey might be a close second! And now you've made me want to watch Twilight- oh gawd!

I really love the whole Man in the Yellow Hat speculation. I have those same kinds of thoughts frequently regarding other fascinating shows. And yeah I kinda reread Twilight every now and then too. No shame! Gives me something other than staring at the glow in my phone to do.
LifeofCharmings says
apparently there is a lot of speculation rolling around the internet regarding the man! haha!!! i'm glad i'm not the only!

My favorite friend is Ross. I seem to be the only one though lol. He's so overly dramatic, its funny to me! Joey comes in second. xx

This has gotta be my most favorite post. Ever. I couldn't stop laughing!!! "Uhh, curious indeed"! We watch CG from time to time and Vivian seems to have taken a liking to the monk man too 😉

I might be posting this twice…but I stumbled upon your blog via Sarah Tucker's blog. Your paragraph about CG is cracking me up – I have the same thoughts! I have an almost 20 month old daughter who is crazy for George and especially loves the episodes with Gnocchi the cat.
