[coffee every morning in my favorite coffee spot // the beautiful atlantic // m sleeping on her daddy the same exact way she did last year, carrying her big ole bag like mommy does! // my handsome looks all the more handsome when he’s holding my pizza pie // that sleeping, cuddly angel // our little fam on easter day! // the princess collected her share of shells without even allowing her feet to touch the sand // me and my bebe girl // pure girly sass, pure heavenly heaven // poolin’ with daddy // a lizard friend, we named him leo // my hus just lookin all studly under the sun and palms]
ahhh, what a faaabulous little escape for us to take together for our first ever family vacation, just the three of us!! i think maddalena would agree with me when i say that it was pretty darn wonderful to have steven all to ourselves for a while. sometimes you just have to skip town to get the quality time and relaxation you really need, you know? so i was happy to skip, skip away, and i loved every second of it.
i love coming here with my favorite people. i love getting to share and enjoy all the things i have cherished about this place since i was tiny, and i love exploring new things about this beautiful town. and so, when steven’s time at the beach with us came to a close, when we snuggled all three on the bed as maddalena napped, i was so so so sad that it was ending. more sad than i expected, which i took to be a really good sign, actually. a sign of an amazing first family vacay. then, after the minutes on the clock went by just a bit too quickly, i did my you’re-going-to-have-to-force-me-to-stop-hugging-you-hug, and then steven slipped out the door, all cool and handsome like he does… and i pouted a little slash a lot.
thankfully, though, it had worked out that my mommy dearest would walk in the door just an hour after my husb walked out of it! yaaaay. and the vacation continued for a b and her ladies, oh, glory, hallelujah! i am so thankful for this place and my people.

Vacation endings are the saddest. Lucky you that they got to continue on! Even if that was sans S. Why can't life just be a never-ending vaca with palm trees and cute baby feet?
