there’s something about spring that just makes a girl want to be a ballerina. actually, there’s something about being a girl that just makes a girl want to be a ballerina!
since i’m, oooh, just a smidge or 20 years past a beginner’s ballet class [and really, even if i had the coordination for it [i don’t], i do not have the arches! waa!], i think i’ll stick happily with chasing around my little tutu-loving lady in my favorite pair of not-a-ballerina ballet flats.
and that leg hug? oh, that leg hug is just the very best out of all of it. 🙂
She is so precious!! I took Ballet when I was 5 but I was to much of a tom-boy to care at that age. Now i'm 23 and I am such a girly girl and I wish I would have loved ballet back when I was at a good age to learn. Now all I have is the occasional Zumba class with much older women who can move and groove better than I could ever imagine 😉 Love your blog!!

you are sweet, thanks girly!! i always wish the same! if only i'd wanted to dedicate myself to ballet or piano or something elegant like that when i was tiny and had my whole life ahead of me, ha! 😉 and yes, those older zumba ladies! how do they do it?!

If it were socially acceptable (and my Husband wouldn't laugh at me ) I'd totally rock a tutu and leggings at a beginners class! I love dance, but ballet was never my forte! You've got the sweetest ballerina!
