there was this one evening last week, after kind of an average-feeling day, where that baby girl of mine made everything feel all sparkly again, as she somehow spent at least 30 minutes walking around the house in her mama’s pink ballet flat. oh, it made me smile to watch her! and well, i was impressed, to say the least… i wear a size 9! haha! but, i guess once maddalena discovered the magic of slipping her foot into a shoe the length of her leg, she was sold 😉
and i totally can’t blame her for spending so long with one of my porselli‘s on, because they are some of my very favs. [i waited two months for those puppies, and they were so worth it!] i guess it’s safe to say we love our shoes around here. all three of us, it’s true. you know, when we aren’t barefoot, because we love that, too.
so then, naturally, i couldn’t help but take some terribly unimpressive, yet entertaining! footage of the girl tromping around our crazy kitchen like a peg-leg pirate… only opposite. a big-tiny-fancy-foot ballet princess is more accurate, i think!
that surprise goofy-teething-face at the end? haha! didn’t see that one coming. oh, i love you, maddalena rose. being your mom is my fav.
and ps. she has since walked around in one of my strappy wedge heels! oh, this girl! i’m so proud.
ohhhh my gosh! when she says "uh ohhhh!" and then throws the shoe!! ahh this was too much! 🙂
