my beautiful horsey love, casey… oh, i will never get over him! although his mane could use a brushing. sorry, baby boy.
and that sweet little munchkin pony of ours, red, i’m hoping he and maddalena warm up to each other! he’s the tiniest thing, and he’s not so fond of grown-sized people… she’s still a little timid around large dogs… perfect match?!
pretty sure i’m seeing smiles on those two happy farm pups, minnie and penny… i think most dogs are secretly farm dogs on the inside.
and hey! dueling golf carts! don’t worry, dad’s got his wine in hand… how else do you properly fill a water trough? italians, you know. gosh, i love my family. [and it was a celebration night!]
i am so thankful that we have such a slow transition into fall around here. i really love the late summer. the sun sets in a slightly different spot. the golden evenings are some to savor. the brisk fall air might sneak in your nose just every now and then for a little preview, but otherwise you can still enjoy the summer weather for a while. and when the leaves finally start to turn and the sunlight shines through the yellow and red leaves, everything is so vibrant and magical!
these are some good seasons to be living in. that is for sure!
