these two! they get me every time…
i love that before maddalena was even born, sophie somehow knew that there was a kitty lover in the works. an intuitive one, that sophia kitty! we now search our house over for the cat many times a day, and “cat” has already been one of maddalena’s first words [we’ve got mama, dada, clap, cat, dog, and mostly just a combo of cat and dog…”dat! dat!”]. i’m pretty sure the cat is my spirit animal [cat was my first word, for the record], so if it’s maddalena’s, too, i will happily share 😉

When I was in high school I had a grey kitty like that. Her name was Calina. I miss her, she was such a good cat.
