a few of these photos of the babies on our lake trip just cracked me right up… because oh, this little scene is all too familiar a sight, am i right, ladies? maddalena, bless her feminine soul, she had her eye on mr. wesley, but he was all about that package of diaper wipes, or anything that he could attempt to chomp on, basically. it reminded me of how i felt in high school, when i had my heart set on an irritatingly charming boy, myself. siiigh. but really, does this dynamic ever change? girl enters the room, freshly dressed and makeup-ed, but there’s a FASCINATING commercial on tv that boy can’t look away from… yep, better get used to it baby girl! 😉 [boys, we love you, still!]
ps. ultimately, maddalena just took the diaper wipes from him. that’s my girl!
