most of our weekend was beautiful and warm-ish, thank goodness! spring is coming! although, today is rainy, but what are ya gonna do. anyway, me, steven, and baby maddalena had a family brunch together on sunshiney friday morning at loveless cafe, and it was, of course, delicious! we live approximately 2 seconds [or 10 minutes] from loveless and haven’t gone to eat there in an eternity, which is a darn shame, because it’s the kind of place where people come from all over to have a big meal of good ole southern cookin. i remember in middle school when we heard that nsync stopped in and we were like, “!!!!!” because we were 13, and just a few years ago i heard that martha stewart was there for dinner and i was like, “!!!!!!!!” and it was really tempting for me to try to maybe just go befriend/stalk my girl, martha, but i did not. oh, and we had a jack white sighting there once, too, but that’s not the point. the point is that i ate pancakes that were huge and aaamazing, and i was totally okay with the fact that i got syrup in my hair.

Those biscuits look AMAZING! & I want a mug too! Especially since it has a huge L on it.
I think I'm going to be one of those grandmas (or 26 year olds) with a TON of random whimsical mugs . . . and I won't be sad about it.
