this christmas, so far, half of the lights on our christmas tree have decided to go out on us [most of them went out before going on the tree, but we still used two strands of our old lights, woops], my closet floor has stayed covered in strewn boots and unwrapped christmas gifts no matter how many times i try to tidy it up, among our holiday decor we’ve got bumbos and bouncers and swings and toys and blankets, and the laundry pile, i’m pretty sure, is about as tall as our tree is…
…but! this year, a sweet little christmas stocking with our baby girl’s name on it hangs on our mantel, and it’s pretty much the best. thing. ever.
so, this christmas, i love you the most.
[and this time last christmas… um let’s talk about that… i was nauseated and craving donuts.]
