last sunday evening,
we went out on a little date to get some mexican food for dinner,
figuring it could be one of our last date nights before baby time,
although, i still thought we had at least until due date, which was a week away.
my belly was so so major, but i managed to squeeze in plenty of food,
and once we got home, we decided to take a little walk around the block.
it wasn’t until the end of our walk [which i barely made it through with that ole bell]
that it occurred to me that spicy foods and walking are two of those things
that they say induce labor. i mean, i still don’t know if either are true or not…
but guess what happened just hours later, around 2am?
that’s right. baby time began!
[so, i’m pretty glad we had that date night!]
our last little date before baby time…
…but we didn’t know it then!

Oh man, coming from an avid mexican food eater, I'll have to keep that in mind when I'm pregnant! Once again, congrats!! Her name is so unique and I don't want to keep saying her name wrong…so maybe a pronunciation blog for the non-italians?! 😉

I'm willing to put money on that it was walking around. When my preggo bff spent the day walking (or waddling) around the christmas tree farm, she also went into labor.
yay for a date night before baby time
