2. aden + anais muslin wraps – these are awesome. everyone told me they were awesome before, and those people were right. and they’re especially great for summertime because they’re lightweight. such good little blankies.
3. little side snap shirtsies – i always call these jedi shirts. that’s what they remind me of! we have these long sleeve ones and m wears them every night. they’re easy to put on and her arms stay covered and i love the easy diaper access. also good for summertime.
4. nursing bras – gilligan & omalley have great ones at target! i love the adorable sleep bras and the wireless regular bras. pretty super.
5. nursing pads – i totally like the disposable ones. i know some people get the washable kind but i’m tired of washing things and i like to go through them as often as i need to. and then have my mom go buy me more.
6. oversized v-neck tees – these were on my preg list, too. because they’re my fav. i’ve tried a lot of v-neck tees in my life and old navy has surprisingly really stolen my heart with these!
7. tummy support wrap – i’ve read that women in other countries wrap their bellies for 40 straight days, day and night. but no need to spend the dollars on the kardashian kind, i got this one on amazon and i’m really glad i did. those ab muscles take their sweet time coming back together and it feels so good to have support. i didn’t quite make it 40 solid days, but at this point i’m trying to wear it at least while i’m around the house.
8. coconut oil – i know, this goes on every list i ever make, but it’s the best and i use it all over. and i’ve been eating it in my oatmeal which is delicious. [i usually put it in my coffee to take it internally but i’m not drinking coffee right now.] and it’s also supposed to be good for like, every baby problem ever… cradle cap, diaper rash, baby acne etc. i haven’t had to use it for those things yet, but i’m prepared!
9. vino! – because you’ve really earned a glass by now! we asked the lactation consultant at the hospital about drinking and nursing and she advised me to have a glass while nursing or right after and you’re good. one glass apparently passes out of the milk within 2-3 hours [varying, of course, with how big your glass is and how much you weigh and things like that]. so, done and done. she seemed to be fond of mojitos, herself, but i was really just concerned with my wine. [la leche league has lots of info here.]
10. stackable mommy rings by monkeys always look – i found these on etsy and fell in love! and of course… i ordered one. my maddalena ring is gorgeous and makes me so happy. you can get a set of 3 or a single one, which is listed as a wedding ring.
11. camera – because you have to capture every single face and outfit because it’s all so cute you could just die. and your iphone will not be happy if you completely fill it up with photos. but you will anyway.

I can honestly say I had no idea what half these things were on your list as I guess any adults with no kids would know nothing about?
