the highlight of my spring every single year is coming down to our little family getaway home on the beach. it is my very favorite place on this whole entire big planet earth and it always seems to bring me back to balance after a whole winter of cabin fever and vitamin d deprivation starts to make me go just a teensy bit insane. and honestly, i can get really dramatic about how much i love this place and can’t live without it. but it’s true! it’s really true. so it’s been pretty wonderful to be here again for the past week with my fam. and! even baby b loves it already, because just as i was *hoping* would happen, little baby movements [dance parties, exercise routines, i like to picture all kinds of excitement] have finally started to become startlingly noticeable just this week. so, perfect timing, baby! absolutely perfect.
