we had a meatball date night saturday night!
good meatballs are kind of an important part of any relationship.
maybe you didn’t know that, i don’t know, but it’s true.
good meatballs are kind of an important part of any relationship.
maybe you didn’t know that, i don’t know, but it’s true.
so, this is me being sooo wifey as i made meatballs:

1. ooh, i’m so wifey and pouring this salt so perfectly, i don’t even have to look!
2. waaaa, i just poured too much. 3. cooooow guuuutttts! i gave up on wifey.
*this was my first time cooking in coconut oil & i loved it! it doesn’t burn as quickly as olive oil does.
so, husband gave this batch the thumbs up
and we ate along to some frank sinatra tunes,
popped open a bottle of red that we’ve never tried before
and lived happily ever after!
and i’m not going to say there wasn’t a preparatory
kitchen-jig danced beforehand. no, i can’t promise that.
[ooh, and also! rewind. we watched the movie 50/50 on friday night. has anyone else seen it? sweet little touching, endearing movie. we liked it a lot! joseph gordon-levitt does a really good job, i think.]
too cute π

Mmmmm. Meatballs. I might just have to make these for dinner tonight. Maybe with a variety of dipping sauces? Oh thank you for the inspiration!
doesn't the coconut oil impart a coconut flavour? seems like that with be an odd combo with meatballs.
my husband and i used to listen to frank sinatra tunes all the time when we painted the house/did chores etc… and we haven't done it in forever. i should pull out a record for old times sake.
(oh and i really liked 50/50 too… this is the longest comment ever. cute blog)
mina, no, it actually doesn't have any flavor! i think if you buy unrefined coconut oil, which is better for your skin and stuff, it might have more of a flavor to it, but the stuff in the grocery stores is usually refined. just yummy ole meatballs!
