there’s a cute little park near our housey that we kind of forget about sometimes. we don’t really go down there often enough, i s’pose because we spend a significant amount of our outdoor frolicking time at farmhome… but this spot is so pretty! we took a little visit saturday when we wanted to spend some of these gorge september evening hours outside. there’s an old mill built in 1862 that sits down there on the river, surrounded in beautiful stone and i just love to picture what was going on on the very same land so many, many years ago.
aaaand frolic time!
i think our little park romp was also partly so that steven could make me get some of my energy out before i drove him bananas. yes, it’s the same thing we do with minnie, run her around until she’s tired! so, before i know it, i’m leaping all around. i like to leap. and i’m big on frolicking. and so is minnie. and so is steven but he can’t because he’s got himself a big ole ankle injury, the poor dear. anyway. i loved this little park date visit… you know, aside from minner’s filthy paws on my white shirt. oh, but she had such a good time, too.
ps. i have been obsessed with my black challis shorts from target ever since i got them. they are cute and flowy and comfortable and i think they only have them in floral now. which i need. immediately.

Great outfit. Looks like a nice, relaxing outfit for a day of frolicking. I love the outdoors. There's something so relaxing about spending time outside in a park when the weather's nice.
