just a wee bit more from our friend group vacay last week…
we would really go anywhere with these people…
…but i mean, especially the beach.
also, the boys definitely had me convinced for a day or two that it was common to catch sand dollars and grill them and suck the juice out of them. i mean, i don’t eat seafood so this sounded reasonable enough to me. but ugh. eventually i caught on to their gags.
the best, though, is that steven & i came back from our travels feeling unexpectedly well rested! so well rested, in fact, that the night we got home i took a “nap” from 9:45-11:45pm and then somehow stayed up til 6:30am before going back to sleep until 10:30am. [me and sleep, we have an interesting relationship. we’re pretty much friends with benefits. i don’t know what that means, really. actually, i do.]
to our friendsies: we both love you a lot! and thanks again to jake for pulling this trip together. and those who weren’t there, i promise you were missed. i say it’s time to start planning for next year…
