here in nash have been just fiiiine with me! sunshine is my happy place and i woke
up all smileyfaces this morning after loading up on vitamin D the past few days.
we ended the month of may so perfectly last night, cooking in the kitchen
with our red wine, our frank sinatra, plenty of italian seasoning,
and the back door swinging for warm evening porch time.
and i wore my little vintage pink apron that i got at an antique
shop. it makes me feel like a kitchen ballerina, which is
really why i wear it since obviously it doesn’t protect your top half,
which is where most of my problems end up.
so steven and i ate our chicken, risotto & broccoli on the back porch
and talked about life. our 3rd anniversary is only a week away!
you see, we started dating in the month of june when we were 16 & 17
and got married in june 5 years later. so june is really all kinds of special.
1,000 more summery evenings with wine and aprons and porches,
coming riiiight up! we so excited.
[*summer girl: see that song blair waldorf sings in nashville from that country strong movie i have yet to see.
or that LFO song from when we were in middle school. well, not really, but remember that one?]

Is that seriously your apron?! It is so cute I thought it was a normal skirt – I would totally wear it out! Yay June!
Bree says
I have a retro-looking apron too but I always forget to wear it! Even though it's hanging on my kitchen chair.
I really wish I had a balcony or a porch of my own to sit on…Sigh.
