[our little rosebushy was planted a week before the flood. it’s blooming now & i’m kind of obsessed.]
this time last year we were having kind of a rough day
as we wondered why on earth our neighborhood
[and eventually our house] was filling up with icky water.
it was a very strange experience [flood memoirs here].
unforgettable to say the least. but today feels oddly normal…
and i’m really just relieved that our 1 year floodiversary is finally here!
we’re both so thankful for where we are now
and definitely looking forward to giving back this year.
